Under panic braking conditions, press hard on the brakes and continue to
hold it
down
“Brake & Steer” – With ABS, you can steer the vehicle
around an obstacle while braking
When ABS warning lamp stays ‘ON’, get the system checked by an authorized
service center
To familiarize, practice ABS braking in empty spaces

Don’ts:
Under
panic braking conditions, do not pump the brakes. It can disturb ABS
operation
Do not
drive aggressively or faster because of ABS
Do not
expect ABS to shorten braking distances in sand, gravel and loose
snow
Do not
switch “OFF” the ignition while driving. This makes ABS
non-operational

Maintain safe following distances
Adjust brake clearances regularly even with ABS
Maintain tires regularly for optimum braking performance
Drive slowly in adverse terrain and weather conditions
Even when the ABS Warning lamp stays ‘ON’, normal braking is
fully functional. However, ABS may not be fully operational. Get the
system checked by an authorized service center
When
ignition switch is turned ‘ON’, ABS warning lamp turns ‘ON’ for
a few seconds and turns ‘OFF’. This is normal condition
Drive
slowly and carefully. ABS does not compensate for aggressive driving or
risky maneuvours
